Yesterday I was asked by a mentor, "How are you staying the same?"
I think this is brilliant framing.
Simply put, if you want something to change, you have to do something different.
Rather than looking at the actions you think you should take, what if you instead reflected on the ways that you were choosing to stay the same?
What are your repetitive cycles?
It's in those areas that you'll find the edge...
Ask: "What are the ways that I'm choosing to be how I have always been?"
Then: How is that holding me back?
